Motor Scooter Hire
Do I need a motorcycle licence to ride one of your motor scooters?
All our motor scooters have a capacity of 50cc and that means that you only need a current, valid motor vehicle licence to ride one of our scooters.
Am I required to pay a bond for the hire of a motor scooter?
You will only be required to pay a bond if you do not have a credit card. The bond can be paid in cash or frozen on your debit card and refunded or released when you return the motor scooter.
What documents do I need to produce when hiring a motor scooter?
You will need to provide us with your current, valid, driver’s licence and a credit card. Your credit card will be charged for all hire costs.
Is a helmet included in the price of the hire of a motor scooter?
Yes an approved helmet is included in the cost of the hire of a motor scooter
Am I given any instructions on how to operate the controls of a motor scooter?
Yes, you will be given instructions on the correct and safe way to operate one of our motor scooters.
Do I return the scooter with a full fuel tank?
Yes, all our scooters are full of fuel when we deliver them and you can refill the scooter when it is dropped off. Otherwise, we will refuel the scooter and charge the bowser amount to your credit card.
Car and Ute Hire
What documents do I need to produce when hiring a vehicle?
You will need to produce your current and valid driver’s licence and a credit card in your name.
How do I pay for my rental charges?
We accept all major credit cards, EFTPOS and cash.
Does the vehicle come with unlimited kms?
All our vehicles come with 200 kilometres a day and extra kilometres will be charged for.
Can I take the vehicle interstate?
Please confirm this during the booking process.
Do you do one-way hires to major cities?
No, all vehicles must be collected and returned to the Hervey Bay area.
Can you deliver my vehicle to my accommodation?
No, you can only collect or return our vehicles at the Hervey Bay airport and at our offices in Pilot Street, Urangan.
Who pays the toll if I use toll roads in your hire cars?
We offer a ‘go via road pass’ activation service which will activate the ‘go via road pass’ for the duration of your hire. The activation fee is $9.95. After that, you’re free to use all toll roads and we will bill you at $5.50 per toll. All our vehicles are registered with the toll roads and you are not able to use your own ‘go via road pass’ in our vehicles.
What happens if I get a speeding or parking ticket?
All traffic infringements notices are mailed to us by the issuing authority. You will then be nominated as the driver and paperwork will be sent to you by authorities. All traffic infringements incur a $50 administration fee.
Do I return the vehicle with a full fuel tank?
